#StartupAnambra: Young Entrepreneurs profer solutions to business sustainability in Anambra State

Entrepreneurs from different parts of Anambra state gathered at the first of its kind startup ecosystem building event held yesterday (Saturday) in Awka, Anambra state.

The event which was convened by Mr. Pascal Okeke, a tech evangelist and CEO, Bigcode Nigeria Limited was well attended by notable young business owners within and outside the state.

The event featured panel sessions which gave an expose on business, entrepreneurship, technology, teamwork, the role of women in tech and the art of collaboration.

The panelists took time to address questions from the learning eager crowd and proffered solutions to business problems, allaying the fears of some of the young audience who aspire to be entrepreneurs.

Speaking at the event, the CEO of Dallas Global Technologies, Mr Daniel Dallas noted that the essence of building a business is to create value and earn money. Mr. Dallas, highlighted effective cooperate branding and product marketing, appropriate use and requiste knowledge of business and tech terminologies as key in monetization.

Also speaking, Mr Precious Chukundah, a Port Harcourt based business owner and CEO Unicorn.ng talked about innovation as key to market penetration. Mr Chukundah noted that businesses must choose to either “innovate or die”.

On her part, Onyinyechi Mmecha (CEO Extraclass Nigeria Limited) in her speech noted that the challenges of being a female entrepreneur is a daunting one, however she cited her passion for delivering solutions as panacea for Extraclass successes so far. Ms. Mmecha further encouraged young ladies to venture into tech and entrepreneurship as the fastest route to self reliance.

Other speakers who graced the event were, Comr. Nonso Smart Okafor (CEO, Reapfold Limited), Odili Ujubuonu (CEO/MD, Brand Aristotle Digital), Mr Uche Nworah (MD/CEO, ABS RadioTv) Chukwurah Kal – (CEO, ProgXap), Gabriel Eze (CEO, Touchabl), Chukwudi Edogah (CEO, Digital Dreams Limited Enugu) Tochukwu Ositadimma (CyberSecurity Expert) Chioma Udoh (CEO RecyclePro), Uche Onwuamagbu – (CEO Women in STEM).
