It’s one thing to be fine, it’s another thing to be refined, Hon. Chief Nduka Anyanwu is of both class. Chief Anyanwu who hails from Ossah Ibeku, Eziama/Mgbaja Autonomous community in Umuahia North LGA, Abia State has distinguished himself in the political space in addition to his exploits in business.

Anyanwu’s political journey began many years ago when he stuck to the ideals of building a progressive Nigeria. As a member of the defunct All Nigeria People’s Party (ANPP), Hon. Nduka Anyanwu played a vital role in a party that was a lone voice in Nigeria’s opposition at the time.

Moving on, after the emergence of a new opposition to the then ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) forced by the merger of ANPP, CPC and ACN, Chief Nduka Anyanwu maintained his commitment to the then Nigeria’s opposition before its historic triumph in the 2015 elections.

Chief Anyanwu’s commitment to the progressive cause has lifted the fortunes of his party in his home state. In 2015, he campaigned vigorously for his party, the All Progressives Congress in Abia State. Despite how rooted the then ruling PDP was in the state, Chief Nduka Anyanwu was able to garner votes for his party in the State.

Chief Anyanwu’s political feats, activeness and consistency moved President Muhammadu Buhari to on December, 2017 appoint him the Governing Board Chairman of the Administrative Staff College of Nigeria (ASCON), one of the foremost Management Development Institute in Nigeria.

Besides his appointment, Chief Anyanwu is the MD/CEO Nekmark Global International Limited. He has also been at the board of many other companies.

He has equally held offices at the National level of the defunt ANPP and prior to his appointment represents south-east as the National Ex-officio of the All Progressives Congress.

Chief Anyanwu has a Bachelors degree in Public Administration from Ambrose Alli University Ekpoma, and a Masters degree in International Affairs and Diplomacy from the prestigious Amadu Bello University Zaria.

His impact and contributions to the society has earned him a number of awards and accolades. Chief Anyanwu in 2008 earned an award for Excellent, Quality Leadership and Governance from Nguru Development Union, Imo state. He is a fellow, Institute of African Professional Managers and has received a number of prestigious Chieftaincy titles from his people.

Chief Nduka Anyanwu has been an advocate of good governance, he has over time contributed to the socio-political development of his home state, Abia. He never fails to lend his voice in time of need to advance the cause of the southeast region and the country in general.
