Group holds Inaugural Stakeholders meeting, drums support for Buhari

A political pressure group popularly known as Buhari Volunteers Movement (BVM) yesterday (saturday) held its first inaugural stakeholders meeting in Abuja.

The group ably led by Comrade Paul Emumena Micheal met at the Women Development Centre Abuja to Inaugurate its executives across the 36 states of the federation.

Speaking at the event, the National coordinator of the group, Comrade Paul Emumena lauded President Buhari for his unrelenting efforts on the fight against corruption.

Comrade Emumena stated that prior to the coming of President Buhari, impunity, finanicial misappropriation cum recklessness ruled the state of affairs in the country. He expressed his gratitude to the government for deploying effective strategies to plug the loopholes of corruption and other social menance bedeviling the country.

Emumena further called on President Buhari to declare interest and run for a second term. Stating that the country needs his kind of leadership at this time. He noted that the country cannot afford to go back to its previous years of impunity and stunted growth.

On his part, the state coordinator of BVM Anambra state chapter, Mr Buchi Zuma Obika expressed his delight and thanked the National coordinator for conceptualizing the idea behind the setting up of the group.

Mr Obika expressed his love for Buhari and his leadership style. He further assured the BVM family of his commitment towards promoting the group in Anambra state against all odds.
