ASCON Board holds quarterly meeting

The Board of the Administrative Staff College of Nigeria, ASCON under the distinguished Chairmanship of Hon. Nduka Anyanwu held its quarterly meeting Wednesday.

The Chairman of the board, Hon. Nduka Anyanwu noted that the Board in line with her mandate is committed to giving the college a face lift.

He stated that the College is in talks with Enugu State Government and the Financial and Intelligence Unit of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to facilitate training of the staff of the institutions on various capacity building courses.

Anyanwu also commented on the recent agreement signed between the college and African Training and Research Centre in Administration for Development (CAFRAD) in Morocco. He noted that the agreement is part of the efforts of ASCON to achieve her vision of becoming a world class Management Development Institute (MDI) involved with cutting edge performance and state of the art technology.

The board as part of its week long meeting will meet again on Thurday and Friday to evaluate the college’s strategic plan and proffer solutions to challenges being faced by the college.
