The All Progressives Congress (APC) Anambra state has alleged that members of the ruling All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) are removing the campaign posters of their candidate at Ziks Avenue, a popular Avenue in Awka.
Eyewitness.ng got to know this through a facebook post made hours ago by the state publicity secretary of the All Progressives Congress in the state, Arch. Okelo Madukaife.
Okelo alleged that multiple sources have confirmed that APGA members were spotted removing the campaign posters of Dr Tony Nwoye – the APC flag bearer for the November 18 Anambra gubernatorial election.
We may recall that the state government through one of its enforcement Agency, Anambra Signage and Advertising Agency (ANSAA) had levied 9 million Naira on any candidate who intends to paste his/her campaign posters in any public space within the state. Sources from the APC however claim that the APC candidate has complied with this government policy and is therefore wondering why his campaign posters would be pulled down by persons alleged to be loyal to APGA.
